O património cultural vai além dos monumentos e colecções de objectos – engloba tradições e expressões vivas transmitidas através de gerações, tais como tradições orais, artes performativas, práticas sociais, rituais e artesanato tradicional.
As narrativas digitais são a expressão moderna da tradicional arte de contar histórias. Baseada na utilização de ferramentas digitais, permite-nos criar histórias envolventes que transportam as pessoas para os locais e momentos mais emblemáticos do nosso património cultural.
A aplicação da narração digital ao nosso património cultural imaterial dá vida às nossas tradições, cria ligações emocionais e torna-as apreciadas por todos, preservando simultaneamente a nossa identidade.
O consórcio envolve 6 parceiros de 5 países diferentes, abrangendo diferentes áreas e contextos relacionados com a cultura na UE, uma vez que estão representados o Sul da Europa (Espanha, Portugal e Itália), a Europa Central (Países Baixos) e a Europa Oriental (Letónia).

Vidzeme Tourism Association (VTA) is an NGO with over 20 years of experience in the tourism field. VTA has extensive experience in implementing EU projects, including COSME and DG-ENT programmes, the Interreg Europe programme, the Interreg Estonia-Latvia programme, and various other regional initiatives. Its main focus areas are on active and cultural tourism, and it is an active member of the European Cultural Tourism Network.
The University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB) is a young and dynamic multidisciplinary university founded in 1998 in Milan. UNIMIB’s Department of Sociology and Social Research has been ranked amongst the best in Italy for the quality of its research and teaching in social and political sciences. This department has been working for years on community development and sustainable local projects as tools for the development of marginal rural territories.
Lusófona University (ULUS) is a non-profit higher education institution, the largest private university in Portugal. Its Museology Department holds a UNESCO Chair on “Education, Citizenship and Cultural Diversity”, focusing on Sociomuseology, public education policies, heritage, and global citizenship. This department promotes heritage in a broad sense, with its main areas of specialisation being intangible cultural heritage and rural development.
Storytelling Centre (STC) originates from the International Storytelling Festival Amsterdam, founded in 2008. In recent years, STC has initiated and developed numerous activities in the field of storytelling. It is nationally and internationally recognised as a training centre, festival producer, and promoter of compelling performances by (young) storytelling talents. Additionally, it supports cultural diversity and fosters links between different cultural backgrounds, as well as is a member of the Federation of European Storytelling.
OnProjects (OnP) is a consultancy specialising in the management of European funds, particularly within the major EU programmes such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Creative Europe, and Interreg. Its main expertise includes project management, coordination, communication, dissemination, and monitoring/evaluation. OnP has experts in cultural heritage and experience in developing web-based training platforms and digital communication.
The University of Jaén (UJA), established in 1993, is a university coordinating a Centre of International Excellence in Heritage, with a strategic alliance of 10 Andalusian public universities. This centre has a strong international character, bringing together as strategic partners the main national and international institutions and companies dedicated to improving teaching and research in the field of heritage. UJA’s team has extensive experience in developing digital storytelling, using the latest digital techniques and creative methods.
A Vidzeme Tourism Association (VTA) é uma ONG com mais de 20 anos de experiência no domínio do turismo. A VTA tem uma vasta experiência na implementação de projectos da UE, incluindo os programas COSME e DG-ENT, o programa Interreg Europe, o programa Interreg Estonia-Latvia e várias outras iniciativas regionais. As suas principais áreas de incidência são o turismo ativo e cultural e é um membro ativo da Rede Europeia de Turismo Cultural.

A Universidade Lusófona (ULUS) é uma instituição de ensino superior sem fins lucrativos, a maior universidade privada de Portugal. O seu Departamento de Museologia detém uma Cátedra UNESCO em “Educação, Cidadania e Diversidade Cultural”, com enfoque na Sociomuseologia, políticas públicas de educação, património e cidadania global. Este departamento promove o património em sentido lato, sendo as suas principais áreas de especialização o património cultural imaterial e o desenvolvimento rural.
O Storytelling Centre (STC) tem origem no Festival Internacional de Narração de Histórias de Amesterdão, fundado em 2008. Nos últimos anos, o STC iniciou e desenvolveu inúmeras atividades no domínio da narração de histórias. É reconhecido a nível nacional e internacional como centro de formação, produtor de festivais e promotor de espectáculos interessantes de (jovens) contadores de histórias. Além disso, apoia a diversidade cultural e promove ligações entre diferentes contextos culturais, bem como é membro da Federação Europeia de Contadores de Histórias.
A OnProjects (OnP) é uma consultora especializada na gestão de fundos europeus, particularmente no âmbito dos principais programas da UE, como o Erasmus+, o Horizonte Europa, o Europa Criativa e o Interreg. As suas principais competências incluem a gestão de projectos, a coordenação, a comunicação, a divulgação e a monitorização/avaliação. A OnP tem especialistas em património cultural e experiência no desenvolvimento de plataformas de formação baseadas na Web e na comunicação digital.
